Product Description

Pronounced "kwins," it is a fall fruit that grows on trees, just like apple or pear.

It is a knobbly fruit and though it may look as delightfully sweet and juicy, the quince in its raw form is rather tough, tannic and slightly sour at times. 

However once the quince is cooked, it’s soft and tender.  Good for baking in tarts and excellent with cheese.
